Three directions for iqsdirectory.com

Main site · Directory

iqsdirectory.com itself — the three templates that carry nearly all of its real traffic (home, category listing, company profile) plus a Power Page article template, using the site's own real content pulled from a live crawl.

v1 · Clarity

Clarity

Minimal · fast-scan · single blue accent

A Linear-clean B2B system built for speed: scan a category, compare capabilities, contact a supplier. Off-white, near-black text, one confident blue, no decoration that doesn't earn its place.

v2 · Trade Journal

Trade Journal

Editorial · warm paper · brick accent

Leans into IQS's real depth — 600+ long-form articles, 25 years of industry knowledge — and presents the directory as a trade almanac buyers already trust, not just a lead-gen list.

v3 · Signal

Signal

Dark · data-cockpit · amber accent

The most distinctive break from every dated 2010s industrial directory. Dark-mode-first, monospace spec data, a bento-grid category browse — built for engineers who live in dashboards all day.

Microsite

IQS also runs ~250 single-category lead-gen microsites on a separate WordPress theme — a different codebase from the main directory. blowermanufacturers.org was picked at random as a representative sample, audited, and reskinned in the same three directions shown above, so the pitch stays consistent across both properties.

v1 · Clarity

Clarity

blowermanufacturers.org · single blue accent

Same fast-scan system as the main site's Clarity direction, applied to a single-category lead-gen homepage: one "Get quotes" CTA instead of three competing mechanisms, a real hero photo instead of an instructional overlay.

v2 · Trade Journal

Trade Journal

blowermanufacturers.org · warm paper · brick accent

Frames the microsite's own Power Pages cross-links as trade-knowledge content rather than an SEO afterthought, matching the main site's editorial direction.

v3 · Signal

Signal

blowermanufacturers.org · dark · amber accent

Company listings as mono-data spec tiles (location, phone, capability) instead of prose paragraphs, matching the main site's data-cockpit direction.
